    Acting on behalf of Midlands based clients Geo Hallam & Sons have sold the former ceramics factory on the Hillington Industrial Estate, previously occupied by Utopia Bathrooms Limited, to ROJOPA.  The building has an area of 46,241 sq ft and it will be used by the purchaser for his own manufacturing business.  This sale needed thinking outside the box to enable adequate funds to be raised with the vendor acting as part-lender when the banking facility withdrew their offer of finance.  Ryden’s in Glasgow acted as joint agents.

    Geo Hallam and Sons have let offices at Waterfront House to BWB Consulting the engineering and environmental consultancy. The 5th floor Grade A offices comprise 8,650 sq ft and are occupied by their 90 strong team which forms part of their network of offices including London, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds. BWB have relocated from their Lace Market offices to Waterfront House within Nottingham’s Southside business district which is opposite the railway station and tram stops and a short walk to the city centre.

  • Nottingham Post Move To City Gate

    The Nottingham Post have completed the lease of part third floor offices comprising 13,250 sq ft within this multi let high profile office building at the top of Maid Marian Way. The Nottingham Post have relocated from Castle Wharf where they had been based for 15 years and will join occupiers including Ernst and Young, Regus, Gateley and Handelsbanken.

    Around 200 staff have relocated to City Gate.
