Letting of Visage House, Shaftesbury Avenue, South Shields

Acting on behalf of Visage Limited, based in Nottingham, Roger Davis of Geo Hallam & Sons, Chartered Surveyors based in Nottingham, have let Visage House to A & H McK Limited with effect from the 21st March 2014.

Visage House is on the Southern Side Industrial Estate and was the former Head Office and warehouse of Visage Limited before their relocation to Washington eighteen months ago.  Visage House has an area of 60,600 sq ft and stands on a 3 acre freehold site.

The Tenants will transform the building into a soft play centre and skate park with associated offices.  The complex is due to open in June 2014 following an extensive fit out.

The Tenant has taken a 10-year lease at a headline rent of £91,000 per annum.

Roger Davis of Geo Hallam & Sons, who handled the letting on behalf of Visage, together with the Planning Application, reports that South Tyneside Council have supported the Tenants by granting Planning Permission and it is hoped that this facility provides wonderful amenity to the residents of South Shields.

Adam and Helen McKinnon of A & H McK Limited trading as Monkey Mayhem Soft Play (www.monkeymayhemsoftplay.com) and Ride It Skate Park (www.rideitskatepark.com) have stated that this amazing property will allow them to create the best Family Entertainment Centre in the North East, catering for children from ages 0 to 18 + all under one roof.
